CONEXPO
CONEXPO, held every three years in Las Vegas, U.S., has established itself as one of the world's top three construction machinery exhibitions along with BAUMA in Germany and INTERMAT in France.
Doosan Infracore participated in ConExpo, held from March 10-14, 2020, with Doosan Bobcat and unveiled the prototype of its new 1.7 ton mini electric excavator. Doosan Infracore also exhibited ten of their latest items of equipment, including an excavator lineup comprising a 3.5-ton class mini excavator and an 80-ton class extra-large excavator (DX800LC-5), a wheel loader (DL580-5), and an articulated dump truck (DA45-5).
BAUMA
Dubbed the biggest exhibition on earth, BAUMA is a construction equipment exhibition held every three years. Doosan Infracore demonstrated construction equipment remote control technology based on 5G communication to European markets together with LG Uplus during the exhibition. We successfully remote-controlled an excavator in Incheon, Korea, which is about 8,500km away from the “5G remote control station (control center)” at the exhibition site in Munich, Germany. We also introduced the “3D machine guidance” solution that precisely measures the width and depth of the worksite in three dimensions using the sensors attached to the excavator, including “Doosan CONNECT,” a telematics service that remotely monitors construction equipment based on ICT, and integrated service program DoosanCARE.
INTERMAT
It is an international construction equipment exhibition held on the outskirts of Paris, France and is one of the three major construction equipment exhibitions in the world.
Doosan Infracore participated in Intermat 2018 held in Nord Villepinte, Paris, France in April 2018 and introduced 50 products including a full lineup of construction equipment, engines, and Portable Power. We also held commemorative events during the exhibition period including excavator auction and contribution, initial model exhibition, and cake cutting to celebrate the milestone of producing the 400,000th unit of Doosan Infracore construction equipment and the 60th anniversary of Doosan Bobcat's first compact loader release.
